The Wonder of Mount Kazbegi

"I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain. I lie down and sleep, yet I wake up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me. I will not fear though ten thousand enemies surround me on every side." Psalm 3:4-6

At the far northern border of the Republic of Georgia sits a mountain tall and majestic. Mount Kazbegi, or "Mkinvartsveri" in Georgian, stands 5,047 meters (16,558 ft) above sea level. It stands strong and proud over the quaint village of Stepantsminda, Georgia. To behold it in person is truly a wonder. One cannot help but ponder the greatness of God and all of His Majesty. What a comfort to know that the One all Powerful God is watching over us each and every day.
