"The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies." Psalm 18:2

Built in the 1600's, Ananuri Fortress Complex is located on the Aragvi River, 66 km (41 miles) north of Tbilisi. Over the centuries, many battles were both won and lost here. Housing two churches, the fortress sits on a hill, above the serene waters. Traveling through Georgia, I often feel like I'm walking through a fairy tale. If only the walls could talk!
